Carlos brings more than three decades of leadership across operations, finance, auditing, technology, and advisory services, experience that has made him a pillar in the New York, New Jersey, and Miami business ecosystems.
As Director at Fusionworks, he helps companies scale with modern digital solutions powered by Oracle, NetSuite, Prophix, and more. His career includes nine years as a senior officer on MetLife’s Global Internal Audit leadership team, guiding global audit strategy, building high-performing teams across the Americas, and shaping governance frameworks used by hundreds of auditors worldwide.
Earlier in his career, Carlos spent 16 years at PwC, emerging as a technical accounting and governance expert trusted by executives and audit committees across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.
Today, he continues to blend technical depth with strategic leadership, helping companies transform, modernize, and thrive.
A Champion for Startup Growth and Founders
Carlos joined Angeles Investors in 2022, becoming one of the first members in his regional network. Over the past three years, he has become an influential investor and advisor within our community, known for his insight, empathy, and commitment to helping founders succeed. He is now our Chair of Portfolio Management and City Lead for San Juan, Puerto Rico.
