Erica Marquez Avitia embarked on her career in finance after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University in 2004. With nearly two decades of experience in high-stakes financial roles, including as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, Erica has continuously demonstrated expertise in fostering collaboration and innovation in financial services.
Currently, Erica serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Old Mission, a prominent Chicago-based firm, and as a Partner at Innovative AV Systems, where she contributes to advancing audiovisual integration technologies.
Her accolades include being recognized as Angeles Member of the Year 2024 and being named among Diversity MBA’s Top 100 Under 50 Executive and Emerging Leaders.
Since joining as a Founding Member in 2020, Erica has been instrumental in supporting Angeles Investors’ mission. Her active participation includes mentoring budding entrepreneurs, investing in groundbreaking ventures, and contributing to the community’s strategic growth.
